Job Title: Bulk Loader
Location: Tampa, FL.
Rate of Pay: $15.00 per hour to start
Schedule: 1st shift
Basic purpose of the position: Comply with government regulations (EPA,
FRA and OSHA) and company recognized standards while safely performing the
transfers of hazardous and non-hazardous products of railroad and trucking tank
cars.
Expectation: We expect all associates to be committed to a high standard of
safety. The associate must be in compliance with all safety rules/policies and
prepared to report safety and potential safety violations to appropriate
supervisory personnel. Individuals performing this function must not pose a direct
threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of
himself/herself or others. Job performance without equipment damage is
essential to meeting our customers' safety, quality and production requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the duties associated with transfers of products to include, but not
limited to: - Climbing to heights of between 15 feet to 20 feet to perform
inspections on top - Climbing on to top of tank cars and tank trucks to inspect and seal
trailers - Operate various types of mechanical equipment - including small farm
type tractors and golf carts - Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to change oil, starters,
batteries, and clutches - Perform equipment maintenance and inspection on all assigned
equipment and hand tools - Perform housekeeping duties as required by site management
- Comprehension and compliance with all requirements of safety audit
to include but not limited to maintaining hazardous waste transfer,
facility logs, and manifests - Prepare products for transferring, such as heating, sparging, and
sampling
